Michelle November 20, 2014 Gear + Fuel No Comments
In all my training and racing I’ve tried out plenty of brands of energy drinks, powders, gels, bars, etc. I have to say that (so far) my favourite two energy products are: 1. Hammer Nutrition Perpetuem – “Caffe Late” flavour This is a powder you mix with water that is effectively a replacement for energy gels. It’s a super-packed energy drink full of carbohydrates and …

Finally crossed that bridge. This past Saturday I Finally crossed that bridge. This past Saturday I finally closed my textbooks and wrote the last of my RMT board exams. The past couple of months in particular have involved more studying than I ever thought possible. In 6-ish weeks I’ll get my exam results and while I feel good about how the tests went, there’s always a nagging doubt of “what if”. I definitely do not want to have to re-do any part of that! In the meantime I am SO excited to be able to rest, paint, and actually go outdoors and enjoy this little town I moved to rather than sit indoors staring out at it wistfully lol. Of course I owe many thanks to my support network of friends, family, classmates and my partner Steve, all of whom have been incredibly patient and helpful through the whole two year + two month long process.

Oh and the bridge. Yea I have wanted to physically cross this particular bridge for quite some time, and finally managed to do so on Sunday after my exams ;)
